Introduction of TIEI (Taiwan International Education Institute)

In view of the importance of globalization and internationalization, Taiwan's education must be integrated into the world. Therefore, we established the Taiwan International Education Institute (TIEI) as a bridge to coordinate Taiwan's education institutions, industries, and governments to promote and link up Taiwan's education with the world.

Since 2000, TIEI has been promoting international dual-degree and international exchange courses and language learning programs with many well-known universities and institutes in the United States, Australia, China, and the Philippines.

To provide Taiwan students with a safe and convenient language learning environment, TIEI was established at the Hukou Campus of China University of Technology to promote international exchange and language learning to strengthen students’ international competitiveness.

Campus Environment

To provide students with a safe and convenient language learning environment, TIEI was established at the Hukou Campus of China University of Technology which is graceful and have good transport facilities.

Convenient Location

The campus is just 5 minutes from Beihu Train Station on foot, 70 minutes from Taipei Main Station, 20 minutes from Hsinchu Train Station, and 40 minutes to Hsinchu HSR Station.

Professional Classroom

The campus offers a variety of professional classrooms, computer classrooms, library, Audiovisual learning environments and self-study area to give students the best learning environment.

Dormitory Facilities

Students will be arranged to stay in the school dormitory from Monday to Friday (you can stay in school for self-study or go home on weekends). A 4-person dorm room provides the best environment for students to learn English intensively, so that English ability can be quickly improved in a short period of time.

Dining Environment

A diversified choice of breakfast and lunch designed by a professional dietitian is provided daily at the student restaurant to take care of the balanced nutrition for students and to help increase the learning efficiency. Self-pay dinner can be selected at the restaurants on-campus or off-campus to choose the meal.

Beautiful Campus

The school has a total area of 141,629 square meters and a total of six school buildings, including the first teaching building, the second teaching building, the student activity center and the first dormitory, the second dormitory, the library, the leisure and sports center. The total floor area is 86,999 square meters, there are a 400-meter sports field, various courts and fields, and an indoor standard heated swimming pool.
